Passion 2012

My excitement is overwhelming. I can barely contain it.

I just spent 4 full days with my church traveling to Atlanta, staying in Atlanta, and traveling back home from Atlanta. And let me just say that it is always difficult for me to leave a Passion Conference. But for once I'm okay with it. For once I can say that I will be putting into action what the Lord has placed on my heart. As I am to be a light that shines for Jesus, so I need to find darkness so that it can shine.

So many things have happened since last night that I so want to share with everyone... but I need to wait. I can't help but believe that most of what has happened or most of what I desire is all because of God. He has given me desires that I normally wouldn't desire or try to act on. Desiring God's glory brings me immense joy. I haven't ever felt this before, and I never want it to leave.

This is all I can say for now. Be on the look-out in the near future for the things I'm most excited to share.

This is the sculpture that was assembled during Passion 2012 in response to the 27 million people that are currently enslaved. That is the highest record in the history of slavery. Indifference is not an option.
